It seems that overwhelming “beyond our control” things
often
surround and engulf us,
and so it is.
Would it be better if I had
control? Or do I have control?
Extreme weather, huge unusual accidents,
war and more war,
people and things
we often don’t understand or
perhaps condone.
Out of our control
it often seems
“When it rains it pours”
Yet, life giving ingredient is offered
When the sun shines it brightens
sheds light
gives hope
God’s plan is rich with resource
May it encompass us and empower each day.
